“Idaho DanceSport is a welcoming studio for anyone looking to learn how ballroom dance. As a former competitive and highly trained dancer, I was impressed with both Tabish’s knowledge and his commitment to high standards within his classes. He is deeply vested in and passionate about his students’ learning. If you are looking for first rate instruction and a friendly atmosphere, Idaho DanceSport is definitely the place to go.”

“I have learned so much with Tabish and Lori at Idaho DanceSport! I’ve grown so much as a dancer training at this studio and developed so much confidence when it comes to dancing socially that I can’t wait to keep learning more! Idaho DanceSport fosters an amazing learning environment not only with wonderful and talented instructors, but also with the close knit and enthusiastic community that it has given a home to.”

“A thank you to you, Tabish! I am new to the area and found a group salsa lesson online–a class taught by Tabish Romario. I have taken a few classes in the past but it had been awhile. I took a leap and showed up by myself. I immediately felt welcomed even among the regular students greeting and hugging each other like they were old friends. Group lessons are dynamic, full of laughs and lots of correction and encouragement from Tabish. My love for dance was reawakened. Tabish has a zest for dance that you can see pulse through him and move to his students, giving them confidence to give 100 % because he gives 115%. I knew after taking my first class with him that private lessons would be worth the investment. His artistic and passionate way of teaching is backed by incredible skill, knowledge and attention to detail that never comes off as overbearing. After even a couple private lessons, I found myself feeling more confident and wanting to learn more. Thank you Tabish for welcoming me into the great dance community that surrounds you and for giving me new life and inspiration. Taking risks is always scary but walking into your class is a decision for which I am forever grateful!”

– Michaela. Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

“Tabish and his wife Lori are two of the most loving, positive, and passionate people I have ever met. Every time I have gone to class I’ve have had an amazing time and learned so much. If you’re ever in Boise and are interested in learning to dance or just want to dance, this is the place to go!”

“I am truly fortunate and happy to join Idaho dancesport and it has been almost 9 months I have been a part of it. After joining IDS I have met some great people and have made some good friends. According to me the thing which makes this place so amazing and always fun is the people here enjoy dancing and are always willing to help you learn and grow as a dancer and as a person. The other thing which makes this place special is our instructor/dance coach/friend/Critique/great dancer Tabish whose passion and dedication for dancing is infectious which actually motivated me to learn more about dancing. He has an amazing talent of coming up with unique/sometimes crazy/innovative names for all his moves so if anyone is confused about names for any dance move you should surely contact him.

I would recommend IDS to anyone and everyone who enjoys dancing and wants to learn and improve as a dancer and develop a new hobby and make some awesome friends.”

“I cannot say enough great things about Idaho DanceSport! It is my home away from home and the best place to learn any Latin Dancing in the Treasure Valley. Tabish and Lori have built a community that is family. I am so grateful to have them and the rest of the Idaho DanceSport crew in my life.”

“Tabish at Idaho DanceSport is the most enthusiastic and qualified dance teacher I have met so far. I strongly recommend you to learn dancing with Tab, no matter what is your level, experience, or objective. When I joined the group more than a year ago I was simply seeking to meet people, as I was new in Idaho. Today, I am a part of this community and the best of it is that I have learned so much in dancing. What is good about Tabish is that he will give you what you want. He will personalize the dance to your objective. He will give you the encouragements and the maximum feedback you need for success. I was able to learn the foundations of the Latin dancing, from the basic to the rhythm of it. He then walked me to the different technical steps and introduced me to the performance experience. His network and the synergy of the dance team allowed me to perform Latin dancing (Salsa, Bachata and Mambo) at five different locations, in front of more than 250 people. That was truly one of the best experiences ever! Idaho DanceSport is getting bigger and funnier every single time someone new is joining! It does not matter what is your age or how shy you are, Tabish will make you look elegant and sexy. There is no comparable dance teacher around there and what amazes me is that some people are driving for two hours just to dance with us at class!”

– Ronan. Boston, MA

“I have absolutely loved my experience with Idaho Dancesport. Tabish and Lori are truly fantastic at what they do! Not only are they amazing dancers but also amazing teachers! They have helped me so much to improve my technique in Latin dancing. They are warm and caring and 100% genuine. The entire group is so friendly and welcoming. Can’t recommend this place and the people behind it enough!!”

– Leslie. Boise, ID

“Wonderful instruction by Tabish and Lori. Great place to learn Latin dancing and grow from such knowledgeable, energetic, passionate and friendly instructors.

The thing that I like the most is the concepts and techniques, that are shared in group as well as private lessons, which potentially can take dancing to a whole different level in a very short time! Several fun social events, get-togethers, competitions and performance opportunities make this place the most loved dancing spot in the entire treasure valley.”

“Idaho Dance Sport has been more than just a dance school for me, it has been a life changing experience. Easily one of the best decisions I’d ever made! Hailing from a middle-class, conservative Indian family I grew up thinking that I’d end up like most people around me – with a good paying job, a wife, a car, a house and kids…all by the time I was 25. That was my definition of a happy life. But joining IDS changed everything for me…in a good way! 🙂
I’d realized that my vision of happiness was very limited…that life was much broader than that and was meant to be, well, lived! You only truly live when you find and pursue your passions. And pursue them I did…Dancing opened up new horizons and possibilities for me. I often look back and realize how far I’ve come from being a shy, introverted engineer to this ‘happy feet’ maniac.
But anybody can learn how to dance from anywhere, right?
Wrong!
There are teachers and then there are teachers; Tabish is the latter. His teaching methodology is ‘first principles’ oriented, meaning he emphasizes the fundamentals…a lot! His motto is to bring out the best dancer in you.
‘Greatness is built with hard work and dedication, with perseverance and devotion, with sweat and tears, with practice, practice and more practice’. This mindset, that circulates within the walls of IDS, has given me a rock solid foundation to build upon and helped me not just become a better dancer but also a better person in life. Remember when I said that it’s been life changing?
I now live in LA and have taken a few classes from reputed instructors, but Tabish still stands out…he’s a good friend and a great mentor. In fact I miss his lessons so much that I’m planning to fly out to Boise once a month for taking Latin ballroom classes…that’s how much I recommend IDS for anyone who’s wanting to learn dance.
You won’t regret your time here…trust me, I’m the living example of it.”

“Idaho Dancesport is a community of diverse people, learning to express themselves through dance. It has become a second family for me and I cherish the continued experiences I have there. The owners are passionate, loving people who happen to be amazingly talented competitors in ballroom and Latin dance. I have only great things to say about this place!”

“Tabish is known on a massive scale for his expertise in performance dancing and dance instruction. Some people in this world are masters of carpentry, master marksman, or master chefs. Tabish is a master of movement. The theoretical 10,000 hour mark has been greatly surpassed by Tabish and this is evident when studying dance with him. Whether you are looking for an instructor to introduce you to social dancing, or you are honing your skills in any style of dance – look no further. Tabish combines connection to music with precise technical skills in order to inspire others to create meaningful movement; alone, or with a partner.”
